Sugar kelp fronds are carefully selected, blanched in seawater, and cooled in freshwater. They are vacuum packed and then frozen. To thaw them quickly, immerse the package in boiling water.

Stipes correspond to the stem of sugar kelp. Only the stipes of farmed seaweed can be marketed, because pickers of wild seaweed have to leave them behind for regeneration purposes. SEA RELISH (10 x 500 ml)
Our sea relish is inspired by Québec eating habits. The idea is to put seaweed to use in a traditional fashion with flavors that are well-known to our palates. The kelp is preserved by way of onions in maple syrup, with apple cider vinegar lending a slight touch of acidity.
